Liliane Grenier

Liliane Grenier is a French-Canadian artist from Quebec. The eldest of four art-loving children, she started to draw even before she could talk or walk. Having a huge passion for beautiful Disney movies like The Lion King and The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, she was encouraged by family and friends to carry on doing what she could do best.

After one or two art classes as a teenager, she decided to continue learning by herself, reading many books about modern and ancient artists. John William Waterhouse and Vermeer are two amazing inspirations for her when it comes to characters and light.
Liliane's second passion in life is children, and she currently works as a daycare educator. As a kid, she dreamed of one day illustrating books like the ones she loved reading, and she realizes today that she is finally living that dream. In the process, she also discovered how great it is to show young children the love of creativity, art … and reading.
