About the Author

Linda Schwartz is the owner of Educational Consulting Works and is the founder of The Learning Works, a leading publisher of educational activity books, which is now a division of Creative Teaching Press. Linda is an award-winning author of more than one hundred activity books for children including What Would You Do?: A Kid’s Guide to Tricky and Sticky Situations, What Do You Think, and The Safety Book for Active Kids.

She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and received a Masters in Administration/Supervision from Cal State Northridge. Linda was an elementary and a middle school teacher before becoming a resource specialist for gifted and talented students in Torrance and Santa Barbara.

Linda and her husband live in Santa Barbara, California. Her hobbies include reading, Mah Jongg, and golf.

About the Illustrator

Bev Armstrong is a graduate of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. She has illustrated extensively for the Humane Society of the United States, Girl Scouts of the USA, and The Learning Works. Bev lives in Ojai, California with her two opinionated Chihuahuas. Bev's hobbies include letter writing, reading, and reminiscing.
